Terms of Service

You sign in with a code sent to your email or with Google. Keep access to your email secure; anyone who can read it can sign in. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to use NiceScribe.

Each account, Free or Unlimited, is for one person. Don’t share your account or sign-in, resell access, or upload with scripts or automated tools. Unlimited has no cap on files or minutes for individual use. We design it around roughly 720 hours a month; in very heavy months your files move to standard processing instead of being blocked. If an account is shared or automated, we may limit or close it after telling you.

Unlimited costs $10 a month billed yearly ($120 a year) or $20 billed monthly. Prices are in US dollars and include tax. Payments are handled by Stripe. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel. You can cancel any time in your account; Unlimited stays on until the end of the period you’ve paid for, then your account moves to Free. We don’t offer refunds, including for partly used periods, except where the law requires it.

The Free plan allows 3 files a day, each up to 30 minutes and 5 GB. Limits for each plan are listed on the pricing page and may change; we’ll tell you before a change affects a plan you pay for.

You keep all rights to the recordings you upload and the transcripts, summaries and exports made from them. You give us permission to store and process them only to provide the service to you. We never use your content to train AI models. You’re responsible for having the right to upload and transcribe each recording, including consent from the people recorded where the law requires it.

Don’t use NiceScribe to break the law or anyone’s rights, upload malware, try to get around limits or security, or overload the service. The free YouTube downloader is for videos you own or have permission to download; it doesn’t support copyrighted music.

We work to keep NiceScribe available and accurate, but transcripts can contain mistakes and the service is provided “as is”. Check transcripts before you rely on them. We may change or discontinue features; if we shut down the service we’ll give you at least 30 days to export your files.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

You can delete your account any time from the account page. If you have a subscription, cancel it first. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. Deleting an account deletes your files, as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we’ll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use NiceScribe after that means you accept the new terms.
